The purpose of this survey is to understand the current situation regarding nutrigenomics education and training among health professionals in Canada. This project has been approved by the Ethics Committee of Université Laval: Approval number #2020-231A-1/ 20-05-2021.
Your participation in this research will consist of completing an online survey comprising a maximum of 14 questions, depending on your answers, about your level of nutrigenomics education and training, as well as your education and training needs on this topic. The estimated time to complete this survey is approximately 10 minutes. Since no identifying data will be collected (for example: name and contact details), any data obtained from a participant who chooses to withdraw from the study, after having completed the survey, cannot be destroyed. If you choose to provide your email address at the end of the survey (optional), you will be entered into a draw to win one of three $50 grocery store gift cards.
All information collected as part of this study will only be used for scientific purposes. Your computer’s IP address will be saved to prevent someone from completing the survey repeatedly. Moreover, data will be stored on a server base in the USA. When data collection will be done, the entire database will be move to a local server at Laval University.  The data obtained will be destroyed 5 years after the end of the study. In addition, this data will be used only for the purpose of this research project and will not be shared with other researchers or other research teams. If you choose to provide your email address to enter in the draw, your email address will be deleted from the database as soon as the draw is completed, and before the data is reviewed/analyzed. Once these email addresses have been deleted, your responses will be anonymous.
