Application - Prescott and Russell Region E-Business Grant Program

Guidelines

The Prescott and Russell E-Business Grants Program has been created to help business owners adapt and/or enhance their online sales process by incorporating a sustainable e-commerce solution into their business.

Who Can Apply?

Prescott and Russell business owners who are researching e-commerce platforms to enhance their online business activities may apply for up to $1000 toward the implementation of their chosen e-commerce solution.

Eligible Projects will be:

New and improved e-commerce websites and/or shopping cart solutions that help the business facilitate online transactions for their customers.
An e-commerce solution that moves customers away from paying by e-transfer.
Delivered by contracted service providers, external to the applicant, and will result in a functional online store, web page and/or sales process.
Implemented and paid for, between March 15, 2020 and March 31, 2021.

Eligible Costs include:

Development, enhancement and expansion of an online marketing/sales platform.
Domain acquisition, hosting fees, initial or start-up licensing/ subscription fees.
Graphic design and digital marketing assets necessary to design, enhance, and promote a professional online store, such as professional product images or paid advertising to promote the new e-commerce capabilities.

All information submitted on the online application is true and complete, to the best of your knowledge, belief and understanding.

You shall retain all records relating to any grant payments made to the applicant including all invoices and proof of payment for at least seven years from the date on which payment was received.

The Prescott and Russell Grant Program is a discretionary, non-entitlement program and the applicant is not entitled to funding merely as a consequence of submitting an application. Payment is subject to the applicant and the applicant's project (including all activities) satisfying eligibility criteria, eligible expenses criteria, as well as the applicant's compliance with all terms and conditions of the program, as determined at the discretion of PREDT.

You will provide PREDT with the required documentation to complete its due diligence in a timely manner, so PREDT may process and/or issue grant funding. Documentation includes but is not limited to: proof of identification, business registration, proof of project completeness, paid invoices, and proof of payment.

Any misrepresentation, falsification or material omission of information on this application may result in failure to be accepted into the Prescott and Russell E-commerce Grant Program.

The program, administrator, directors, community partners, employees or representatives (as applicable) shall not be liable for any damage or loss whatsoever, or howsoever arising, including, damage or loss arising from any advice, opinions, representations, warranties or the provision of information under the Prescott and Russell E-Business Grant Program.

Finally, PREDT plans to publicly acknowledge and promote each successful grant recipient and their new e-commerce solution. Success stories may be shared broadly with PREDT network via website, social media channels, monthly newsletters, and/or reports to Board, Township or County Council.

Promotion may also include business interviews and media releases sent to local partners and media channels. You authorize PREDT to promote your company, it's e-commerce project goals and successes?
