The Disrupter of the Year trophy celebrates the company whose activities are particularly disruptive and innovative. Emphasis will be placed on products and initiatives with major impact in terms of financial inclusion, access to health care, education, energy, etc.

Eligible candidates:

All African companies created less than 10 years ago. 

Candidature by application, third-party nomination (company or individual), or identification by the AFRICA CEO FORUM’s editorial team.
 
Winner of "Disrupter of the Year" 2019 award can not compete.
 
Criteria: 

- disruptive character of the company’s products and services
- impact of innovations
- revenue and job growth over the past year 
 
Award ceremony:

The call for applications will be open until March 15, 2022. 

The winning company will receive its award during a special session at the next AFRICA CEO FORUM annual summit, to be held in Abidjan (Côte d’Ivoire) on June 13 and 14, 2022. 

All pre-selected companies will be notified at least one month prior to the event. They must commit to sending one of their top managers to the next AFRICA CEO FORUM annual summit.
